I'm a director, producer, and cinematographer based in Los Angeles, CA, deeply passionate about telling stories that strengthen and expand our connection to the living planet while engaging and welcoming new audiences. My work blends a profound love for storytelling with a commitment to making positive, lasting impact, merging compelling narratives with meaningful change. I strive to make environmental storytelling accessible and inclusive, inviting everyone to participate without judgment. I believe that lasting change is only possible when we learn to work together. At my core, I’m a storyteller, and that’s been true for as long as I can remember. From a young age, I was captivated by visual media, especially documentaries. As I grew up, I started experimenting with blending different genres to craft stories that resonate with audiences outside of the usual suspects for that particular program. In a landscape where politics often distorts and polarizes issues, particularly in the realms I’m most passionate about—wildlife, environmental concerns, and climate—I began to explore innovative ways to share these messages. My goal has always been to bridge divides and unite people toward a common cause.

I feel so grateful that my work allows me to present real-life narratives that can foster empathy and understanding. Through these stories, we can introduce audiences to the lives of other people, and even to our non-human neighbors they might never otherwise encounter. By doing so, we create connections that transcend boundaries and encourage collective action for a better world.

I co-created and am currently executive producing Réabhlóid ar Chúl an Tí  (Backgarden Revolution), a seven-episode television series for TG4 in Ireland. In this innovative take on the garden show format, we collaborate with renowned landscape architect Mary Reynolds to transform ordinary lawns into flourishing native habitats.

In 2022, I co-produced and co-created the YouTube Originals children’s edutainment series, Maddie’s Urban Jungles, which was nominated for a Jackson Wild Media Award. This project highlights my dedication to making environmental issues engaging and accessible for younger audiences and their families.

I hold degrees in Anthropology and Film/Video Production from Princeton University, and I earned a master’s degree in Wildlife Filmmaking from the University of the West of England, in collaboration with the BBC's Natural History Film Unit in Bristol, UK.

Beyond my creative pursuits, I serve as co-president of wayOUT LA, a 100% volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit. This role allows me to give back to a community that has profoundly shaped my personal and professional identity. wayOUT LA’s mission is to fundraise and advocate for grassroots LGBTQ+ youth organizations in places where acceptance is lacking and resources are scarce. Since 2019, wayOUT LA and I have raised over $500,000 for these essential community-led organizations.
